# PewTranslate > Live translation for churches. Share your service in more languages. Listeners scan a QR code to read and hear live translation on their own phones. PewTranslate is a web app for churches that want their sermon understood by people who speak other languages. ## Key facts - What it is: live sermon translation for churches. A church streams the preacher's audio from a laptop browser; each listener follows on their own phone, in the browser, in the language they choose, as text and as speech. - Listeners: scan a QR code, choose a language, press Play. No app, no account, no headsets. - Languages: 106 listener languages and regional variants (2 of them text only); 82 languages and variants the preacher can speak, plus a mode for services that switch languages. - Price: $5 per hour of translated speech for each language someone is listening to, billed per language and rounded up to the minute. No subscription, no per-listener fee. New accounts get $20 of credit (4 hours of one language). - After each service: a report with listeners, languages, billable time, cost and the full transcript with translations (CSV, text or Word download). - Contact: hello@pewtranslate.com - Limits: machine translation (a human interpreter is better for vows and pastoral conversations); needs internet for the operator and listeners; translations go to phones, not yet to the projector; right-to-left languages are shown in a left-to-right layout. ## Product - [Home](https://pewtranslate.com/): Overview, live demo, pricing summary and FAQ. - [How Live Church Translation Works](https://pewtranslate.com/how-it-works): How PewTranslate works on a Sunday: the operator starts a stream from a laptop, listeners scan a QR code, and each phone shows and speaks the sermon in its own language. - [Pricing: $5 per Hour per Language](https://pewtranslate.com/pricing): PewTranslate costs $5 per hour for each language someone is listening to, billed by the minute of speech.
